Organizing and showcasing your jewelry

Craig and I love going to antique stores and I usually go home with a new fun piece of jewelry each time.  I've accumulated a lot of pieces and finding places to put all of these little gems has become a challenge.  I have two jewelry trees, but I love chunky rings and bracelets and they don't accommodate them well.  I don't like jewelry boxes because it gets messy and you have to dig to find what you want.  I have repurposed a few items to make my jewelry accessible and show off what I have.

A super simple way to hold all your bangles and large bracelets is a vase.  I usually use this for my cuffs, because I can grab them off instead of taking all of them off to get to the one on the bottom.

Next, is a shelf I snagged at a rummage sale.  I paid $5 and right away knew it would be perfect for bracelets.  I happened to find a few jewelry pillows at the same sale to put inside each cubby.  I love that it hangs on the wall to free up more space on my dresser.

Lastly, I have a wall piece for holding candles.  I have used this little dandy for everything from it's designated purpose, to holding photos between the leaves and of course holding my jewelry.  Necklaces can be hung over the leaves, earrings slip right over the vines and the candle holders are great for storing rings.  Place a mirror behind it, and it really shows off my collection.
